Wir sind die Borg!

Wir spielen Fastpitch Softball in der MSL [Mixed Softball League].

Ein wild zusammengewürfelter, internationaler Haufen mit der gemeinsamen Leidenschaft zum Softball. Neben dem wöchentlichen Training,  spielen wir zur Saison im Sommer gegen andere Berliner Teams aus der Mixed Softball League.  Dabei waren die Borg seit ihrer Gründung schon zweimal Meister.

Zur Abwechlung überwinden wir unendliche Weiten und spielen jedes Jahr bei Turnieren in Deutschland sowie im Ausland.

Übrigens... Die BORG, also das Alienvolk aus Star Trek, ist das Vorbild für unseren Teamnamen. Wie sie verstehen wir uns als Kollektiv, welches gemeinsam sportliche Herausforderungen annimmt und diese auch erfolgreich bestehen. Es spielen bei uns Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene.

We play Fastpitch Softball in the MSL [Mixed Softball League].

The Borg are an international bunch of Softball hooligans who share a passion for the ball game. Like the hostile alien race in the movie Star Trek, we are a collective being which wishes to improve it's efficiency through team-work, a bit of fun and the occasional assimilation!

Aside from twice weekly training sessions, we engage the other Berliner MSL teams in hand to hand combat every Sunday in the summer season. But the battle doesn't end there! The Borg are also a dedicated tournament team, having traveled to Paris (F), Hengelo (NL) and beyond!
